I saw Carl Aldana, fellow artist and old friend and he mentioned some sketchbooks I had shown him quite a while back. He encouraged me to post some of it, and so here are some. These are from Brazil.

This is John and I at a show of his work at a studio of his, several years ago (about 10 years this fall actually). John was my life drawing teacher at CSULB, and a big influence on my work, and on that of many, many, many others. He is having a few health issues at the moment, went to visit him, and really enjoyed his banter, which is still intact! Dug out this photo to post.
